About Federal College of Education (Technical), Gusau
Federal College of Education [Technical], Gusau was established in 1989, and the academic activities commenced in May 1990.
It is the only single-sex (female) Federal College of Education in the Federation and boasts of a population size of 2,587 students.
Located on the outskirt of the Zamfara state capital Gusau, along Zaria/Funtua road, the college has only one main campus, located at Mareri. Admission is by Quota system with Zamfara State having the highest quota in addition to the admission requirements approved by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE).
Federal College of Education [Technical], Gusau has six (6) schools with Nineteen (19 ) departments prospective students can enroll into. The schools and departments are listed as follows:

The various courses offered are fully accredited and leads to the award of National Certificate of Education (NCE).
