The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced on Wednesday that the examination council has come to a decision to postpone the 2018 November/December Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) to November 19, 2018, the 2018 NECO SSCE was earlier scheduled to begin on November 15, 2018.
The information was disclosed in a statement which was signed and released by the Acting Registrar of the examination council, Abubakar Gana in Abuja on Wednesday.
The Registrar also explained that NECO regrets any inconveniences the change might have caused candidates sitting for the examination.
Meanwhile, in the statement, all candidates sitting for the examination have been instructed by NECO to visit the examination website to download the new examination timetable.
Below is an extract of the statement released by NECO;
“Candidates are hereby requested to download the new examination timetable on the NECO website: www.mynecoexams.com and the e-mail used for the registration.
“Please note that this information supersedes the earlier media publication on the commencement date for the examination date.”
