The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced that June /July 2018 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results have been released. The acting Registrar/Chief Executive of the Council, Alhaji Abubakar M.Gana disclosed this while speaking with newsmen, he revealed that 2018 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination went smoothly without any hiccup. He also disclosed that all the candidates who sat for the examination can now proceed to the Council website to check their results.
According to Alhaji Abubakar Gana, the comparative analysis of candidates with 5 credits and above including English language and Mathematics for 2017 and 2018 shows 70.85 percent for 2017 and 71.48 percent for 2018, showing there is 0.63 percentage increase in 2018.
He further explained that examination malpractices reduced significantly in this year’s examination. It was also gathered that nine thousand of the candidates that registered for the examinations did not sit for the papers.
