This is to Inform all intending applicants for admission into a Doctoral programme at British Columbia University, Canada (UBC) that registration for the 2018 Killam $30,000 Scholarship for international students into the University has commenced and is currently ongoing.
The purpose of the Killam Scholarship is to support advanced education and research at five Canadian universities and the Canada Council for the Arts. The UBC Killam Doctoral Scholarships are provided annually from the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies.

- Applicants must be Canadian, Permanent Resident or International students
- Applicants must have completed their Masters & Undergraduate degree program
- Applicants must have applied or be processing admission to UBC
- Applicants must be proficient in English Language
How To Apply
Applicants are to submit their application materials to the College of Graduate Studies. Please note that students who submit an NSERC doctoral or an SSHRC doctoral award application to the College of Graduate Studies are successfully forwarded to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS), are automatically considered for Killam Doctoral Scholarship funding. These students do not need to submit a separate Affiliated Fellowship application.
Applicants may submit complete application forms directly to graduateawards.ok@ubc.ca or submit a hard (paper) copy to the College of Graduate Studies.
