JAMB has released more details concerning the 2018 Admission Policy Meeting which has been scheduled to hold on June 26, 2018. While Speaking with newsmen, the Head of Media for JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin disclosed that the meeting is scheduled to hold as earlier announced, he also disclosed that the meeting will hold in Osun State.
He also disclosed that the meeting will be televised live on NTA from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. He explained that the meeting will be televised live so as to keep all the candidates as well as the entire nation involved in the process.
The meeting will be attended by all the stakeholders including heads of all tertiary institutions in the country as well as South-West State Governors as this is the first time that the meeting will be held in the South-West Region of Nigeria.
He also mentioned that the primary objective of the board in the meeting is to ensure that every prospective candidate is treated fairly and equally under a transparent platform.
He equally disclosed that the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) will be used to conduct the admission process for this year’s admission as it was done last year for continued transparency.
